Pay as you go and international calls/texts

Hey,

My other half is in Syria at the minute and her UK mobile has managed to pass away meaning I can't text/call her. She has picked up a Syrian handset on SyriaTel but unfortunatley my 3 contract phone can't send texts to SyriaTel it can only phone and recieve texts.

What I was thinking of doing was picking up a cheap PAYG simcard with another operator for texting her. Does anybody know which network I should go with that will actually be able to text to SyriaTel and isn't absurdly priced?

Looks like t-mobile have an agreement with the network so should be able to send texts

im pretty sure the other networks have similar pages with info so you can check if you want...i only had a quick look at tmobile
