PAYG Data Charges (T-Mobile)

I'm going to have to rely on a mobile connection for the next few weeks. I currently have a PAYG phone to use with EE (T-Mobile). Currently it costs £1 a day to use which is expensive so I was looking at any packages.

They have these 'Smart packs', as detailed here: https://www.t-mobile.co.uk/shop/sim-card-only/

I was going to go for the 'Smart 10' one as it'll be enough with 1GB usage but I'm confused as to what that actually means. Does it mean if I go onto this pack I get 1GB of data usage for the whole month or do I get a allowance cap of 1GB but still have to pay £1 a day to use it?

It means you'll have 1gb free to use for a month if you top up £10, and then once you use up that limit you may need to top up again for another 1gb, or it will eat into your credit.

That's what I was hoping it meant. I was reading the package details and there's a section with 'Plan Coats' with states it costs £1/day on the plans. I guess that's just for when you go over then?
