Sold something on FB marketplace over a month ago, person who bought it has said it was fine when they got it. Now they say its faulty and want a full refund.

Obviously its a private sale with no warranty given or even implied and with a month and a half passing since its sale, I am reluctant to honour it. They are now threatening to go through PayPal, what are my options here?

Not sure what to do really, guy is adamant about returning it, but as it was a private sale, with no warranty and he said it worked fine when he got it. Why should I take it back after he's had 6 weeks to wreck it. Think I may just say, go through paypal.

do you have his address?

if paypal reverses the transaction, then go to civil court and get boxing gloves out
you are right, it is caveat emptor so even if paypal doesn't side with you, the courts will
(i'm also assuming you have pics of the drone before you sold it on)

Yep I do, it's only a cheap drone and I have my pictures of it also.
