I've just received an email from Paypal asking for photo ID to be able to use my account again. Apparently I now can't use it until I provide some. Has anyone had this before? Is it genuine?
If you get something like this, you just goto their website without clicking on links and goto your account page / messages to see if it's genuine. Send a question to them if you need to
It appears to be genuine, having logged in to PayPal and confirmed via auth. I have opened a new account with a service called Stripe who have not asked for photo ID. Hopefully they'll be better.
