Paypal compromised?

Got an email today saying there was suspicious activity on my Paypal account,upon checking someone had tried to withdraw £62 for "sale Handcrafted Tribal Tibetan Tibet".

So quickly cancelled the payment,changed password & security details and submitted a fraud report.

Very glad Paypal recognized this and put my account into limited though,who knows what they could have done! :mad:

What i want to know....does it mean someone logged into my account and tried to send the funds? Or they requested the funds from my account?

Will Paypal hunt down those responsible?

I've had an email claiming suspicious activity before, but it was the email that was a fake trying to get me (I would imagine) to log into a cloned log in screen, so while there are give aways like a similar but dodgy web address I would advise anyone checking for suspicious activity to log in from a bookmark or Googled link rather than a link from their email as a matter of course as it would be easy to mistake these emails as genuine at a glance.

No no,i didn't use the link in the email,i logged in via the proper link.

I was actually asking,Has anyone had his before and hat was the outcome?..did paypal shut em down?

They didn't take any money.!

what do you mean by 'shut them down'. PayPal ain't no feds.
