Paypal disputes, how long for money to be refunded?

I purchased two steam vouchers through paypay gifts. They were supposed to E-Mail them to the user, they were for a friends birthday. However he never received the E-Mail with the voucher codes.

I put a dispute into paypal and escalated this dispute.

So in the resolution center it states the following:

What happens next

The seller has been asked to respond by 22 Jul 2015. Once we receive the information, we'll continue our review of this case.

Anyone with experience of the resolution center know how long it will take for the refunds to be processed?

About a week from what I remember.

Can't get see you getting a refund tbh with you paying as gift "I purchased two steam vouchers through paypay gifts"

would have been better claiming that you didn't authorize the transaction.

If it was by Paypal gift then you may be in trouble since that option doesn't offer the protection you normally get.

OP means via the paypal gifts website I suspect: https://www.paypal-gifts.com/uk/ rather than having paid via paypal gift.

As above ^ I got the money refunded a day later.

Quite strange that this paypal gifts affiliation did not even try and dispute or resend the vouchers.

Oh well, won't ever be using that again!

I made a claim through resolution centre not long ago, and got refunded it took about 12 days for me.
