paypal help

I'm trying to sort something with paypal but not having any help on the actual site.

Basically somebody is buying something from me and what I want to do is send them an email which contains one of the paypal buttons, which when they click will take them to the screen and automatically be set up for the cost and to pay me etc. Does anybody know how you do this?

If it is through eBay you have the option to send them an invoice.

Otherwise, I don't think you can do this outside of eBay, probably best to E-Mail him with the total amount and the E-Mail address to send it through via PayPal.

thanks, but it's not through ebay, I've noticed the invoice tool so may use that but would be good if I could get the button thing instead

the invoice or request payment options will work, it will send them an email which will have the details and then when the paypal page opens it will have the listing of items & prices etc.
