paypal on a personal site?

Hey,

I've a friend making a little site and is asking for donations to help him with a project, however, he's not a registered charity.

What's the best way of allowing people to gift him money to his personal paypal account and allow them to enter the amount they wish to donate?

I've no idea and only use to pay my ISP so thought I'd ask those with more experience

Tell your friend to go to this(https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_donate-intro-outside) page and click on 'create your button now'. On the next page he will enter his paypal email address and customize the look of the donate button. Once done he can copy the html code to place the button on his website.

we had found that but was under the impression it was for charities only, i'll have to look in to it more
