Paypal question

I have made a paypal account. Signed up, put my bank details in.

I have been told to get a mini statement and find 2 numbers (money put in)

how long will this take?

One more question, Can I recieve payments now or do I have to wait until I have completed this mini statement thing?

It normally takes about a week to appear on your statment. And with a visa card I swear you can send money before you get these numbers, but on some cards you need to input them first.

Took a week or so for them to put in the cash and used online banking to get the amount.
