Hi,

I have some money in my paypal account and want to buy an item of ebay but the item cost more than what I have in my paypal account, is it possible to buy the item with the money I have in my paypal account and take the rest from my bank account?

thanks

yeah you should see it, it will take all from your paypal account then show how much they take from your bank

if you have a bank account AND a credit card registered with paypal, the confirm page when you're paying will default to the bank account for the extra funds.

if you'd rather take the extra from your credit card you'll have the oppurtunity to change the funding source then.

Also, Paypal will make an immediate payment to the seller even though it will take them 3 days to transfer the money from your account into their own. So you could end up with the item in you hands before the money has even left your account. That's if the seller posts the item out when he promised he would.

His account would be on direct debit though, so they would definatly get their money (paypal)
