paypal question

Hi guys, I got a full refund via paypal and the status of it is completed. however the money hasnt gone into my paypal account or my bank account. the refund was made on monday afternoon. does anyone know how long this usually takes? i paid by debit card if it makes any difference.

If you’re asking about eBay no doubt you already have an account with them, so why don’t you try here and put your account to good use. I’m sure the people on their own board will be able to answer your questions a lot better than the people on a PC forum can.

But it might be worth contacting paypal directly as theyd give you a better reply?..

i had a refund myself due to some loser selling me a 360 a few months back, then after the sale he said use western union to pay him in turkey. i emailed him telling him to shove it.

anyway to the point, the refund in paypal took over a week if i remember correctly, and then thers another week(ish) to transfer the money from paypal back to your bank.

All in all took a fair few weeks to get my money back, although I canceled my payment (which like yours was paid on a debit card) rather than him paying me back although my situation was quite similar to yours. I paid via paypal for the 360 then he started being arsey about it saying he wanted WU (turned out he had hijacked someones account). hope this helps

at least paypal don't have any charges for refunds being put into your bank etc etc
the long refund time can really **** up your money for the month, it most definately did with me

well they charge 25p to put money it your account if you move under £50 which i am

It can take 5 working days to clear.

they said it would done anytime up to the 18th of oct.....funny how companies take money out of your account very quickly but take an age to put it back.
