Paypal refunds, How long ?

Got a refund from someone I know and was wondering what the time frame is as I haven't received it yet, I've been told a few different bits of info ranging from immediately to 14 business days.

I contacted paypal but haven't had any reply yet.

Any info is appreciated.

It's pretty much instant in my limited experience, I assume it was normal PP invoice and not PPG?

Have you checked your wallet to see if the money has gone into that? Though generally it is sent back to your method of payment
It might take time for your bank to process the money though, so take that into consideration. Longest I've ever had to wait is 3-4 days

If it's out of your PayPal balance, it'll be instant. If it's been taken via your bank account, it'll be a few days as your bank has to process it.

Well I checked and nothing is in at all and it's been 7 business days, I've asked others and they've pretty much said the same thing you have, Just thought there might be more

Have you had any sort of confirmation from PayPal? Does it say in your PayPal account that you've neen refunded?

Nope only what the person refunding the cash has told me.

I may be wrong, but you do generally get a refund is being processed/has been processed email?

Go to transactions list and see if it says completed or refunded

Nope nothing in the shape of any refunds there.

So far he said that he's done it and that's all the info I've been given by him.

Nope nothing, All he's told me so far is that it's gone from his account.

Apparently there was some type of error and paypal asked him to ask me before sending, Personally I've never heard of that.

Then I would say you haven't actually been refunded, as it shows in your PayPal account if something has happened.

Even if a refund is pending/waiting to clear you still receive an email and it'll also show in your account list, if you haven't had either then the refunds not been sent

I have asked him to check the refund status but he just kept saying "I should have filmed myself doing it" I said again the same thing "Just check the status of the transaction it will give you all the info" and he said again "I should have filmed myself".

Really baffles me as this guy is a grown man

If he has the information on screen, can he not just print screen the section that shows the transaction being made? Just edit out any important information.
