If someone pays for something on paypal then comes to collect it from our house, can there be any come back even though this is nothing to do with ebay?

Yes, they can claim they have not got it and get the money back.

If they are comming to collect, it would be silly to not ask for CoC

Ye, they can go home, log into paypal and instantly claim the money back, unless they pay via paypal gift.

They were paying paypal to reserve it but others are now interested at the full asking, cash on collection so we will be turning her down

People do this all the time on ebay. Pay with PayPal then collect the device and say it never arrived

I had people do this to me but they never came. I posted them a box to the PayPal address and when they tried to reclaim the money my tracking was the key to me keeping the money.

No, telling the person that was going to buy it he is not selling it to them anymore due to no getting an offer at asking.

He never said the woman would not due CoC.
