I'm currently in the process of modding my case a little bit, got it back from the powder coaters a couple of days ago so I thought I'd share some pics.

All laid out ready to begin rebuilding it.

Got some of these case feet which I thought would look really nice.

Close up of the hard drive thing.

PCI backplates look so much better in black.

All re built, but I screwed the hard drive cage in before I put the fan in, duh!
This pic makes me want to get a gorilla pod, nasty blurriness.

Close up on the hard drive cage, looks good imo.

That's all for now, will get some more pics up when I move my rig over from my trusty old Antec 300, and have finished cable braiding. Any comments or suggestions are very welcome. Still undecided on a colour scheme, was going to go black/aqua blue but when I get new hardware it will make me want to get stuff that matches instead of what might actually be better, so I might just stick to all black, what do you reckon?

Looks great. I saw your rig in the Cases Gallery and thought it was exactly what I was looking for. So I searched your posts and found this. Been looking for something with black internals, window and more stylish metal looking rather than plastic & mesh type 'gaming' cases.

How much did it cost you for the powder coating if you don't mind? Was it a company or someone you know?

I saw this for pre-order which looks just the ticket but for £185 it's way overpriced. So still looking. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-193-LL&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=187#

The powder coating was £80, a bit more than I was hoping it to be tbh.
I got a local firm to do it, they did a really good job, the finish is excellent and they covered up all the threaded holes so that I didn't have to thread them again.
I would say that the price on that case you linked to works out about right then, £100 for the case plus £80 for the powder coating.

As for colour scheme I braided a few of the cables in aqua blue, front usb, power switch etc, and one of the sata cables too. The rest is black so far but I'll probably add more aqua blue at some point.

Just another quick pic. It shows the colour scheme a bit better.

Cheers, probably won't work out a great deal cheaper then I guess. Bit more than I want to spend really so gonna keep looking for the moment.
