Would this rather wonderful case fit the outsized beast that is the Galaxy?

Mate of mine has been convinced (thanks to many amazing posts on the subject here) that the PC-7+ is the best case for his needs, but wants pleant of power to "futureproof" for latter upgrades (8800GTX SLi type of power drain). Thus the Galaxy, maybe even the 1KW version.

Does anyone currently run one of these in a PC-7+, or any comparably sized PSU? I cant find any threads that seem to indicate either way!

And if it doesnt fit, what would you advise as alternatives, either as PSU, or Case?

Thanks!

With my PSU in ,the space between it at the DVD drives is about 5 or 6 inches.

The Enermax is apparently 22cm long, which is only about 5 more than the Corsair i have, so i think it should be fine.

You have the plugs to come out the back of the PSU on top of the PSU size; as well as some bend in the cables. So you would need ample room for that aswell.

I guess it would be around an inch, maybe 1 1/2 inches on top of the Galaxies length.

Hi,the PSU in the shot is an Enermax Liberty, the remaining room is measured from the point where the cable connects to the PSU.This may help,at least you can see exactly how much space you have to play with :)

Got a PC7+ for my first ever rig today.... AMAZING! The quallity and sheer space made it so so easy to build!

It`s even better to work in if you drill out the 4 rivets that hold the top,and put 4 bolts in there. ;)

Thanks a lot guys, the friend in question went for the PC7+, even bought it from OcUK!

looks an amazing case, thanks for all the good advice i could pass on!
