PC activity when browsing on mobile??

Try using a different browser on your mobile other than Chrome? That would rule out Chrome sync. Chances are, it won't do it if you use Firefox.

Just tried Firefox. Still does it.

Normal browsing/use on the PC doesn't create the noise.

I'd give WireShark a go on your PC. Shut all background stuff down, get it running (so in theory you'll hopefully have 0 traffic coming up in WireShark), then browse on your phone and watch the traffic.

It doesn't even recognise my network adapter, only the usb.

Could try rebooting in safe mode (with networking) so absolutely nothing is running.

I can't really think what it could be, unless your router is acting like a dumb switch and just sending all the traffic from your phone to every connected device?
