I have a PC and my mate has a XBOX 360, is there any games which me and him can get and play together over the Internet?

I know i could get a XBOX 360 but atm i'm a little strapped for cash. So wanted to find what games there are where you can play along side 360 players.

Or ones soon to be released (not like age of conan which is a few months off yet).

Shadowrun and Halo2, but for both you need a windows live gold(or xbox gold) account and windows vista...
Not worth it imo, why would you want to pay monthly to play a game online, pc games not hosted on global servers ( like mmo's) should always be free of a monthly fee...

Yeah those were the ones we said not because of the reasons you stated. TBH it will be either a case of me getting a 360 (which still means the live fee) or him getting a better PC.

Just thought there might be something fun out there like a FPS or something.

Final Fantasy 11 can be played together with PC and 360 aswell but ofc its an MMO so not exactly a pick up and play type game.

But then it would be mouse VS gamepad....which i don't think would be very fair on your friend....

...which is a bad thing? :P

But yeah fair point it would be boring because you need the challenge. And I know my friend would beat me keyboard vs keyboard.

Could well be I'm not sure, but I assumed since halo 2 is running on windows live, it should have cross-platform gaming.
