PC Anywhere, PC Anywhere Gateway

Hey all,

does anyone have an experience with this software? Also the Gateway side of things?

I am trying to set this up to being to remotely work on my 3 niece's computer's in OZ and I am confused by this software.

If anyone can offer advise based on personal experience of this software then please post and I will elaborate on how I am lost.

I have used pc anywhere before briefly in my last job but not gateway. You need to install the software on your pc and your nieces pc. Then set up an account at her end. If you are using it over broadband i believe you will need to set up port forwarding on her router (not sure of ports). When you connect by putting her ip address in it will ask you for the account details you have set up.
Personally i would just use logmein or remote desktop.

Another vote for logmein I use the free version and combined with messenger its great for file transfering and best of all its free
