PC Application to backup Contacts, SMS, Apps etc?

Currently I backup my contacts to Outlook and the Apps to iTunes.

Is there an all-in-one app that allows a complete backup of the iPhone. Say if I lost mine and got a replacement. Could I sync it back to a clone of my prevvious one?

Just restore your backup from iTunes to your replacement phone.

This is exactly what people going from the iPhone to iPhone3G did to get the settings from the iPhone onto the iPhone 3G.

So it will automatically backup contacts without it being checking in the contact section?

If you check it the options are Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail etc. No iTunes option

That's the email account setup screen.

As Justin said, when you plug the iPhone in to iTunes it automatically makes a full clone of the settings / photos / contacts / sms, and when you plug in a new handset you'll be asked if you want to restore these to the new one.

Just make sure you tick to sync mail accounts / ringtones / movies / music / applications if you want those backed up too
