PC base unit for £300

I have been asked to build a pc on the cheap for my sister and wondering if you guys could help spec me a pc base unit only for around £300

things she needs
CPU
RAM
Motherboard
1TB hardrive
Case and power supply

things she doesn't need
a additional gfx card/keyboard/speakers/monitor
overclocking

specific needs
a wifi card
a motherboard with hdmi

I have been looking a maybe an amd trinity as the cpu's seem to offer a lot for the price but will be happy to use an intel cpu

this pc will be connected to a hd tv and will be used mainly to watch movies/surf the web/

No point using the BE as it's not likely to be overclocked. TDP is lower on the white version @ 65w.

For an extra £2, its worth the money :confused:

The overclocking ability is there if needed, as well as an extra 0.4ghz

This USB Wireless device is quite nice, use one of these on my HTPC. Works a treat and soooo easy to install!

Does anyone know if these AMD systems can run Linux without difficulty (with regards to drivers and stuff)?
Also, how about MacOSX, this can be installed on Intel systems fairly easily, but how about these chips?

Talk of running Mac OS X on PCs is not allowed on these forums, for future reference. Not that you can on AMD chips anyway.

Linux will work great on these.
