the other night i took my fan and heatsink to clean from my P4 chip 3gig anyway replaced it all and it booted up fine so turned it off an went to bed
next day i started it up fine an started some downloads going
i came home to a dead pc when i turn the power on it beeps at me twice say 2seconds for each beep then about 5seconds after the 2nd beep it dies total shut down no gfx on screen or anything no bios etc
i took the side and there is a power light on motherboard.
i took the gfx card out and ram out made sure all wires were connected then replaced the gfx and ram but now the thing wont even start up at all nothing nada only thing i can see is the mobo light (green led)
any one experenced this before? is my chip blown, someone said it may be my fan on my heatsink, but this would at least let me start the computer??
