PC BUILD £600

Hi all,

Ive never built a pc before and do not know what to look for or where to start. Ive found this rig below for £585.00 is this a good pc and will it run most games.

My main use for my PC is a games machine, Or if you think its not that good. Do you know of any reliable PC manufactureres..

the P35 has been replaced by the P45 range, they're not much more costly, so I'd get a p45 instead, abit's p45 range is very good.

The 9600GT is a bit eww to be honest, the ati HD4850 is much better bang for buck.

Mentioning competitors to OcUK is against the forum's rules. Have a look at some of the prebuilt systems that OcUK sell, although it's better to build your own, as lots of people are about to say :p

Thats the problem i have im limited to £600 budget and OCUK doenst have any gaming PCs for that amount ;-(.

Im not able to build my own PC as i wouldnt know where to start so looking aroudn its a mindfield what to get, what woudl work and what wouldnt work for games.

ie is Quad Core better than Core 2 duo?
