Hi all,

im going to be building a PC for my father. he wants a system that will run vista as after buying it he put it on his current system and it basicly ground to a halt (lol).
he mainly uses just for internet purposes and a little media, no games or anything else taxing or extreme so just wants a low budget pc with more life in it and as said before to run vista.
i've come up with the following:

Processor = Intel Core 2 Duo E2160 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.80GHz (800FSB) - Retail £44.64 inc VAT

Mobo = Asrock 4CoreDual-SATA2 (Socket 775) PCI-Express/AGP DDR2 Motherboard £43.46 inc VAT

Mem = G.Skill 2GB DDR2 NQ PC2-6400C5 (2x1GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit £32.89 inc VAT

Graphics = Asus ATI Radeon EAH3450/HTP/256M 256MB DDR2 TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail £32.89 inc VAT

HD = Western Digital Caviar SE16 400GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (WD4000AAKS) £56.39

DVD = Samsung SH-S203D 20x DVD±RW SATA Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.61 inc VAT

Case = Akasa AK-ZEN-01-BK Zen Black Case - No PSU £35.24 inc VAT

Power = OcUK Huntkey 450W PSU £37.59 inc VAT

i thought id go with a system based around a intel processor due to the quality of them and the now low prices with the new editions emerging.
do you think whats above will be happy with each other?

i have a few concerns, a> does the asrock mobo have any IDE connecters on it? b> will the memory be happy with the asrock (as when i did mine it turned out my mobo n memory werent happy and i had to wait for a bios update) c> will the power supply be enough to power? (the whole supply still confuses me a little lol)

all help will be greatly appreciated :D

This is probably better for the money:
