Hello,
I have a budget of around £1700 for a new gaming PC (which will hopefully last a while for the money) and generated the following list of parts that meet my budget. I just want some advice from you guys to check that this would be a decent rig and also for any changes that you may advise me to make before I purchase it all.
CPU: Intel i5 4670k 3.40GHz (Haswell) LGA1150
MB: Asus Z87 Sabertooth (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX
GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 770 DirectCU OC 2048MB GDDR5
MEMORY: Corsair Vengance RED 16GB DDR3 2133MHz (Quad Channel)
PSU: Seasonic X-Series 850W Modular PSU
SSD: Corsair Force GT 120GB 6GB/s (Read: 555mb/s Write: 495mb/s)
HDD: WD Caviar Black 1TB 6GB/s
Monitor: BenQ XL2420T 24" TRUE 120Hz 3D Vision 2.0 Widescreen LED
I already have a Coolermaster HAF X case, a keyboard and mouse so do not need a new ones. Also, I have a copy of Windows 8 with a spare license key to use, so do not need to buy OS.
The total price for the above list is £1620.86.
Thanks,
Damon
