Hi i am currently in the process of building a system
the specs are
Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Arctic White.
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (Skylake) Socket LGA1151 Processor
Asus Z170-Deluxe Intel Z170 Motherboard
KFA2 GeForce GTX 980Ti "Hall of Fame 8 Pack Approved Edition" 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Corsair Dominator 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C15 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit -(CMD16GX4M2B3000C15)
Samsung 1.0TB 850 EVO SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps 32 Layer 3D V-NAND Solid state drive.
SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1200W Fully Modular Supply - White
Corsair Hydro H100i GTX 240mm High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
Corsair AF120 Performance Series Low Noise High Airflow fans.
windows 10 64bit pro.
my only concern is.. will the memory be compatable with this Asus board with the memory timings?
i know it supports 3000mhz ram but i cant find the ram timing specs on the asus site for this motherboard.
other thing i am unsure about is the SSD, will this be good enough or shall i go with this m.2 type memory?
not quite sure about this new type of memory.
any other advise on this build appreciated.

my budget is around £1,700gbp
but i decided to go with the later motherboard, cpu
i have seen what i can get with the haswell cpu
but i want the later features on the new boards,
and it is a gaming pc so this will do the job for me
im coming from first gen i7 920
so i will be happy with this upgrade especially if it is overclockable.
and i just like the look of the new boards tbh they look prety smart :)
