PC Build: capable of 4K video editing. Please Help

Hello, I was asked to build a PC for a friend which i can do easy if it was for gaming however I'm out of my area of knowledge and struggling because he said i wants it for roughly General Usage 60%, Photo Editing 35% (for a Pro DSLR with Photoshop) and then he added 4K Video Editing 5% with Sony Vegas. I don't have a clue when it comes to video editing but he said he wants it to be good.
Budget is around £2000 for PC and Monitor.

I'm Struggling with
CPU: I was think of i7-6800k
Memory: I'm assuming 32Gb min with video editing
GPU: ? Confused Do you need a gpu for video editing?

Then i imagine
Motherboard: Depends on processer but there is not going to be overclocking.
Storage: SSD for OS/applications and Hard Drive for pictures/videos.
Monitor: 4K IPS
PSU: 400-600W Gold
Case: His preference but understated

Any help or guidance would be appreciated so much or even a suggested build.

AMD seem better for Vegas at the moment and do well in Photoshop

Thank you so much. That has put my mind at ease.
That looks exactly like what i had pictured in my head. So if i say roughly £500-600 for a monitor. I going to try and be cheeky and see if those specs are in the pre-built section for £1400-1500 because he just told me he wants it overclocked and hopefully it will be overclocked for us.
