Got issue with my build sounds works but Microphone socket on front does not work. The plug in connected to audio socket on motherboard.

Also currently got 1 x 4GB stick would it make system faster If I went up to 8GB?

is the plug on the mobo connector the right way ?, have you checked the manual/bios to see if the front panel needs to be enabled, all your audio drivers loaded correctly ?

All drivers are installed if I use headphone socket on motherboard it works fine

Installed motherboard drivers and will allow me to overclock or put CPU to turbo. Going from 3.3Ghz to 3.5 or 3.7 or 4. Should I change it?

Hey xxtomox, I hope you don't mind me asking, saw a picture of your case in another thread, looks like there's loads of room, what case is it?

If you're going to overclock, do it gradually, and test temperature changes. Turbo, seems a safer option, but still keep an eye on temperatures.
