I am hoping you might be able to help me! 4 years ago I came to these forums after deciding to get back into PC gaming and asked for a PC spec for a £550 budget. I went with all the recommendations and build my first PC which I still use to this day - although the gaming has reduced a fair bit which is why I have never upgraded.
Anyway, I played the BF1 beta last week on my X1 and the game was too good to play on console, I miss the use of mouse + keyboard and would therefore like to try and get a PC for playing BF1. I'm moving into my first house at the end of the year so my budget is around £500. I could stretch slightly if I absolutely had to but would rather not. As with my other build I am not looking to be able to play with all settings on ultra or anything like that, I would just like to be able to run the game with a smooth frame rate on medium settings or something like that.
I am totally out of the loop on hardware now and have no idea if this would even be possible? After the great help I received last time I thought I would come back and try my luck again

edit : forgot to mention - no O/S required this is simply for the tower (i can get a new monitor at a later date as mine is 8 years old
