Looking to build a new desktop.

My primary use case is unity, blender, cad, da Vinci resolve and Photoshop. The only game that gets played is a golf simulator game that I use for testing.

Although I have a AM4 build and could use the parts I am pretty much wanting all new hardware apart from gfx card.

Musts are at least 3 m2 slots and the case must have 2 3.5” slots for my drives. Will require 1 nvme for operating system and programs and a 2tb nvme for current projects.
No need for a monitor or peripherals or a gfx card as the 4070 does a good enough job for my needs.

Budget around £1500

Thanks

Do you know how much you're bottlenecked by storage? If you're hardly at all and don't copy much, the PCI-E 5.0 drive in my spec is a waste.

Do you use a lot of RAM? Upgrading to 4 sticks can be a problem, so I'd suggest just getting what you want now. Though, 96GB could easily be excessive.

There are Z890 boards with 4 M.2 slots, if you'd prefer. Do you need SPDIF?

You can get the 265K discounted at the moment, around £230.
