Friend at work telling me he was going to buy an Imac for 1.3k had a look at its specs and almost cried. begged him not to get it and build one himself. so... im trying to convince him to get the below... (think i already have tbh)
any improvements?
Also no OS, keyboard mouse needed, and wants a second 22 inch monitor to go with first for dual.
He will be using it for coding / graphics design software / video editing / photo editing and some on the side gaming but gaming is not a priority and dosent seem fond of spending more than £100 on gfx card
my main question will be are the gtx 650's any good for their price havent really looked into them tbh. im assuming their cuda cores will be better for the graphics design part of his system.
Hes already said he would never fill a 128gb SSD but will get one that size for future with a mechanical on the side.
would like 16 gb of ram
advised him to get I7 for hyperthreading in use for gfx design and video editing / coding etc
and he picked the bitfenix merc case so no budge on that either
and would like to look into overclocking when its all up and running.
When are the samsung 840's released?
