PC build for latest total war games

Hi,

I was wondering if I could ask the forums advice on a new custom machine capable of playing the latest total war games. I'm looking for cheap builds but am open to advice on future proofing etc. Many thanks

What's your budget and current monitor spec ? (Hz and Res)

Running 1080p 60fps average ultra setting for WH2 you'd roughly need i7 4 core or ryzen 2600x and gtx 1070/Vega 56 - hits home when you have massive scale battles

All in all for a decent gaming pc your looking at around the £800 mark alone for parts to build the pc tower only you see.

Hi cheers for the speedy reply, budget is 500-700 I guess but mainly just want to be able to play those games at medium settings, I don't have a monitor so would need to buy a suitable one.

I'd like it to be upgradable if possible so it lasts a while, but keen not to spend hundreds extra if it's not required. I'm clueless about what components to get so advice is really really helpful.
