My parents have asked me to build a pc for my brother and I am stuck at the moment, I have similar parts to what my pc is but I need help on RAM, Wireless card and a case. Also any improvements on my current build will be great. With the case, wireless card and RAM I would like it to be as cheap as possible please.

What is your brother going to be using this PC for? What is the overall budget? Lastly, just to clarify do you just need the case, internal components and a Wireless adapter?

Cheers

Thats a big leap from £600 to £750 :p
Can't spot anything wrong really. Could go modular PSU but would cost more. Other than that.

That's not bad at all. Nice job! It would be nice to have THIS PSU as it's semimodular for better airflow and has plenty of power for a single GPU setup and overclocking.

At 100 posts you should get free P&P so there is no harm talking things through. You can then look to get him little additions as gifts down the line.....a heatsink for example, they don't have to be expensive to be good.

Just spitballing ideas, this is a mini-itx setup but probably is a bit much to ask of your parents price wise........is nice though. Be worth while telling me what you think of it ;)

over budget by a tadge

i'd personally scrap the keyboard mouse and mouse mat and spend money on the core componants. then go buy a cheap keybaord + mouse set for 10-15 quid and upgrade in a couple months when funds are available (or christmas presents?)

WOW, thanks for the responses. I have been thinking about getting a AMD CPU, but not sure whether it suits gaming. Is the AMD A10-5800K, AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8350 or AMD Piledriver FX-8 Eight Core 8320 any good and would they be a better alternative to the i5. My brother is not a serious gamer, he plays mount and blade, planetside, minecraft and dayz.

@honosuseri It says here That I need 250 posts for P&P, since I have not been a member for over a year.

EDIT: Also can AMD processors work with Lucid Virtu MVP, because that would be great.
