Hi all,

I'm thinking of building a new rig but I already have some parts such as:

AMD Radeon HD6870 1GB
700W PSU

Here is what I have in mind for the rest:

The questions I have are:

1) Do you suggest other motherboards? Is this one better? ASRock Z68 Extreme7 Gen3 Intel Z68
2) Should I go for 2 modules x 8GB RAM or 4 modules x 4GB?
3) Will this cooling system work with the case I have chosen? I ask because the cooling system's intake is at the back but the cases exhaust is also at the back... Will this be an issue?
4) I am also thinking of getting OCZ RevoDrive3 240GB PCI-E SSD Anyone have any ideas if this will work at its full potential with these motherboards? Is it worth it? If not, any other solutions?

I mainly use my PC for gaming and photoshop/bridge large amounts of photos in RAW format. (Which is why I was looking at the SSD also)

Please feel free to suggest any other build/case etc as it will help a LOT.

Budget is around £600 (Excluding the SSD)

Many thanks!

Personally I would go for i7 if your main use is Photoshop.

I would also do away with the CPU coooler and use the Intel one (included with your CPU) at stock clocks.

Did you intend to overclock it?

No intention to overclock yet so I guess you're right about stock fan
