so i made a new build i am a first time pc gamer and i was wondering what you guys think of this build:

CPU: AMD FX6300 Black Edition 6 Core (3.5/4.1GHz, 8MB L3 Cache, Socket AM3+)

Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0 Motherboard (AMD 970/SB950, 4x DDR3, S-ATA 600, ATX, PCI-Express 2.0, USB 3.0, USB BIOS Flashback, Socket AM3+)

Graphics Card: Asus R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 1070MHz 3GB GDDR 5 PCI Express Graphics Card

RAM: Kingston Technology HyperX Beast Series 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL9 Desktop Memory Module (Kit of 2)

HDD: Western Digital 1TB internal Hard Drive – Caviar Blue (3.5 inch)

PSU: Corsair Builder Series CXM 600W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU

i think i am gonna go with the NZXT phantom 410 case (not sure what colour though) but yeah how do you guys think this will preform in games like arma 3, day z standalone, BF4, rust ect

thanks for the help in advance :)

If it was me I would have paid the extra and got the 8320 as I got a 6300 then always thought afterwards that I should have played the extra. Also I would have got the same board but EVO version and a cooler so then you could get a nice overclock out of it. But it should do pretty well in those games still :)
Also if you don't have an ssd you might want to add one

It's basically a hard drive with no mechanical components. They are usually very fast in comparison to a traditional hard drive.

However they are more expensive than a mechanical hard drive (although they are getting much better in price)

SSD is like a harddrive on speed, typical 5x faster or more so things just load extremely quickly. Normally you keep the OS and a few key games/apps on it and all your media on normal hard drives.

Went a bit over the budget, you could drop the SSD to save some money, comes with a solid motherboard, better CPU and PSU, and a cooler to overclock.

The V300 SSD use inferior NAND than when they first came out, so the rated speeds are now wrong and worse,

I would look at the new Crucial SSDs, excellent performance vs price and storage size.

That comes to £568.99 but I would stll need a case so I could probably stretch to like £630 if I really like the case

Try and pick a case with top fan vents as a big problem with cooling the 8 core FXs on air isn't the core temps but rather the socket temps. You need fans blowing directly onto the socket to allow for overclocks above about 4.5GHz on air. For great value coolers I'd check out the deepcool or rajintech ones.

Here are 3 cases around that price point, sure others can recommend cheaper cases.
