Howdy,

Have been thinking of doing a completely new build, want it for pretty high end gaming + want it to be fairly future proof.

Budget shouldn't be to much of a problem, just came up with this build after doing some researching.

Whatcha think? Is it worth going for an extra 4gb ram?

Gainward GeForce GTX 580 "GOOD Edition" 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card - £369.98

Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM -£156.98

Asrock Z68 Extreme4 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - £144.98

Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-850HXUK) -£143.99

Cooler Master HAF X Gaming Tower Case - Black (RC-942) - £142.99

OCZ Agility 3 60GB 2.5" SATA-3 Solid State Hard Drive (AGT3-25SAT3-60G) - £92.99

Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103SJ) - £43.99

BeQuiet Dark Rock Advanced CPU Cooler (Socket LGA 775 / 1155 / 1156 / 1366, AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / 754 / 939 / 940) - £42.98

Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9) - £39.98

LG GH22NS70 22x DVD±RW SATA ReWriter (Black) - OEM - £16.99

Its really simple, theres even a choice of clock speeds in the BIOS from 4-4.8GHZ, just select a value and let the board do the rest.

Yeah I'd seen a few screenies seemed idiot proof! What do you lot think of the Asus P8P67? Or asrock best bet?

The Be Quiet! Dark Rock Advanced has a bit of a fiddly mounting system, but does look very sexy :p

If your gonna need to remove it regularly for any reason you may wanna go with an alternative but if your just gonna put it in and forget about it then it's all good, except that the Dark Rock Pro is quite a bit better, but a bit more costly.

Ah I don't really do fiddly, first system in a good few years I've built myself. Any other suggestions on cooler?

Noise isn't really a massive issue for me, as long as it doesn't blow my ears off I'm not fussed. The A70 does look fairly decent though!

Couple of changes being cooler/extra 4gb ram/graphics card brand/SSD.

Not 100% on cooler yet going to do a bit more research before I go ahead I think.
