Been looking to spec a gaming computer to build myself. This is what I've come up with any recommendations on the following. is this everything I will need?

Asus Strix RAID Pro 7.1 PCI-E Sound Card, £99.95*

8Pack Approved - Elite Tier Haswell-E Bundle: Intel Core i7-5820K @ 4125MHz, Gigabyte X99 Gaming 5P, £987.74*

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980Ti Xtreme Gaming 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card, £549.95*

Super Flower Golden Green HX 550W £59.99*

CM Storm Trooper Full Tower Gaming Windowed Case - Black, £134.99*

CM Storm Devastator Gaming Bundle - USB Keyboard & Mouse, £32.99*

LG GP50NB40 8x Slim External DVD-RW Retail Kit (Black), £16.99

Microsoft Windows 10 Pro 32/64-Bit - USB Pen Drive - Retail (FQC-08789), £164.99

I presume you already have a monitor?

I think a 550W PSU will be pushing it for an overclocked 5820K and 980Ti combo, I'd personally be looking at 700W+ PSU.

You don't have to use a dedicated sound card as the motherboard will have it's own onboard sound, but the Asus card will definitely be superior.

Will the 500Gb SSD in the bundle be sufficient for your storage needs?

Do you like that case?

As you have selected an external optical drive then the Fratal Define S Case is a good price/performance/features case with no external drive bays.

You may also find the motherboard sound solution fine as its a few steps above the average sound chip.
