Hi there,

I'll be attempting my first ever PC build. It will be used for some gaming and internet browsing, cloud storage etc so the speed is a must. Please advise if the below spec looks good:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2Ghz 6core 12 thread
Noctua NH U12s
MSI B350 Tomahawk
G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 3000 MHz
WD Black 250GB M.2 SSD + 1TB Performace HDD Bundle
GTX1070 GeForce
Seasonic 650W 80+

Feel free to recommend your options. I'm on a budget of £400-£500.

Much appreciate your help!

Thanks,
Karolina

CPU cooler half the price of CPU is... well, completely nuts.
Especially for performance wise outdated first gen Zen architecture CPU £20 would be max for cooler.

And that Noctua would be overpriced for any CPU.
Cheaper competition has surpassed it in performance years ago and its fan is one of the crappiest I've touched in 25 years of PC hobby.

And equally outdated B350 motherboard isn't any better.
Hardly any of those had good CPU voltage regulators to allow porper upgrade choises.
And price is likely abysmally high considering price of outdated motherbords doesn't drop.
MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max would have lot better VRM, while about same price B450 Tomahawk could feed 12 core CPU decently with good case cooling.
For still cheaper Asrock B450 Pro4 would still be better. Also mATX variants like B450M Pro4 could lower price.

And for smooth usage forget paying high GB prices on tiny M.2 drives.
What matters most is that you have SSD space to keep games on it instead of old "spinning rust".
500GB SATA SSDs cost same as that 250GB marketing hype NVMe and 1TB HDDs cost around £35. (and 2TB HDDs £50)

Unless getting some second hand card, or actual discount, GTX 1070 is unlikely to be properly priced for its performance.
GTX 1070 should cost like around £200 to be sensible.
AMD actually dropping prices of old CPUs is the exception of outdated stuff price development, which usually stagnate near original price.

Assuming that Seasonic is 80+ Gold efficiency one it would be at least OK good.
Other models usually use outdated designs.
And if it isn't even 80+ Bronze, then it's from time of Hadrian's Wall in PC tech time scale.
Anyway 550W is plenty without high end parts.

If Ryzen 2600's price is lot closer to first gen than to Zen2 3600 then it's sensible buy.
Performance jump from second gen Ryzens/Zen+ to Zen2 was lot bigger than from first gen to Zen+.

Older Arctic Freezer 33 comes with older Arctic F12 fan whose sound profile is lot rougher than that of newer P12 fan in Arctic Freezer 34.
If caring about noise there's no sense to take older model cooler.

Samsung SSDs are as overpriced snake oil brand taxing as it get.
You can get 500GB NVMes for cheaper, like WD Blue SN500 or its newer SN550 version.
Also high write endurance Phison E12 controller based drives like PNY CS3030 can be had for similar price.

And for such small budget SATA SSDs are best bang for the buck at around £50.
Like WD Blue 3D/Sandisk Ultra 3D. (same thing, different sticker)
There are no meaningfull Windows/game loading time differences between NVMe and SATA SSDs:

That PSU is very good for price.
