Hey guys i'm having some problems with my PC

I'm using a Gigabyte P965-S3 (rev 1.0) and an E6600 with OCZ SLi DDR2 800 RAM. I've been able to run my CPU at 3.2GHz no problem for about 2 years now, i also ran it at 3.5GHz for about 2 months but decided to lower it to 3.2GHz again just so i don't push it too far (this could have been the cause for this)

Now i'm unable to overclock my PC at all, i think i may have knackered something, either the motherboard or the CPU. I ran a memtest earlier and it came up with no errors so i think the RAM is fine! If i try and boot my PC over stock speeds all i now get is an error message saying windows can't boot because it can't find the boot files or something along those lines. It lets me try to boot windows normally but a few seconds into the windows loading bar i get a really quick BSOD, and then it tries to boot up again.

I've tested the RAM, i've tried reseating the CPU but i still get this message and it's driving me insane!

Does anyone know what's up with this heap of junk? :p

tbh this sounds like it has nothing to do with the cpu but why dont you just crank it back up to 3.5ghz? sometimes the OS doesnt like it when you change the original settings when u installed your OS like mine vista doesnt boot unless i set my ram ratio to 5:6 which is gay but i cba to reinstall:D

Just booted up at 3.5GHz with RAM at 973MHz 5-5-5-15! some days i feel so retarded! haha

I hate computers! :p

Cheers for that mate! glad it isn't broken! :D
