PC Case Recommendation

how good is this case btw i would also like to show off the components that cost a bomb lol thanks for the idea of that case ill be looking at that in two secs lol any more suggestions i want all possibilty's has anyone seen that mhel case on ebay that looks good lol

Windowed side panels are over rated IMO after the initial "YAY" its a bit "meh" :D

Antec 300 is a superb case regardless of it being "budget" or not.

see if i bought a three hundred antec culd i just put a clear side panel from my old case on it my old case was a casecom ill show pic

Another vote for the Antec 300 here.

Several people on these forums have cut holes in the sides of these and fitted a window themselves. Materials won't cost too much, and if you have the tools and balls, why not do that? Then you still have a decent case.

I think the 300 is the best in the price range (£35), you need to jump up to ~£60 to get better although there are some own brand cases available that look OK on the outside but there are no shots of the internals so they might have the right number of bays or fan sizes but you don't know where they are.

There are some cheaper cases that have OK layouts and 120mm fans though, have a look at:

Gigabyte GZ series (X1, X2, X3, X5, X6) which are all about £27
AeroCool Series: S9 (same kind of layout as the 300) £40

You should go for function over form and get a case that's well laid out with good cooling and mounting options and then look at mod's like a windowed side panel.

What kit have you got to fit into the new case as that will help us decide what's a good choice ?
