Hi, need a bit of advice if all the parts are compatible and will work together fine, or if I can expect any issues/problems any suggestions are welcome. I check it on pc****p**ker and all was good just want to ask anyone who knows their stuff if I should change anything or leave it as it is.
It is for 4K/"8K" gaming most AAA titles in Max Settings that's why I am getting this "BEAST"

I have already the GPU, CPU cooler, and M.2 SSD, on my way is the PSU, the build

Type | Item | Price

**CPU** | [AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 3.4 GHz 16-Core Processor] - £750.00 (C****s PC)

**CPU Cooler** | [ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 420 72.8 CFM AIO] - £114.95

**Motherboard** | [ASUS AMD RYZEN X570 ROG Crosshair VIII Hero WIFI AM4 PCIe 4.0 ATX] - £399.98

**Memory** | [Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB 4000MHz] - £164.99

**Storage** | [Samsung 970 Pro 512 GB M.2-2280 NVME] - £129.45

**Storage** | [Samsung 970 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME] - £229.40

**Video Card** | [PowerColor Radeon RX 6900 XT 16 GB Red Devil Limited Edition Video Card] - £1339.99

**Case** | [be quiet! Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2 ATX Full Tower Case] - £239.99

**Power Supply** | [Corsair HX Platinum 1000 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully-Modular ATX] £199.99

All together gives around £3 568,74 (ouch) give or take, besides some of the deals i "scored" and got the parts a tiny bit cheaper.

Hi welcome

You should edit out that store name next to the cpu, as it is against the rules to mention competitors :)

If this is just a gaming pc then a 5950X is major overkill, and it won't be any better than a 5600X in terms of framerate.

Also 8K gaming ? If you are fine with 20fps - 30fps then go for it ;) I would say that 4K or 3440 x 1440 makes more sense.

You could save money on the case, board and ram, and I agree that 32GB would be better, especially with the amount being spent.

Agreed drop the 5950x to a 5800X at most. As Lee said a 5600x will give you better frame rates in most games than a 5950x but a 5800x will give you a bit of future proofing without wasting money.

My changes

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £1,061.16 (includes shipping: £13.20)

The ram may seem a bit expensive but it does 3600mhz at really tight timings so should easily do 4000+ with looser timings should you want to play around with them.

Sorry for that, my bad

Thanks to all of you for pointing out what to change and suggestions to the build, much appreciated

Nowadays I see a shift from 1080p towards 1440p neither the less 4K but slowly and 8K future (In a galaxy far far away)

I will make changes to what @dfour suggested and take the Ryzen 7800X and RAM and motherboard the case RGB I am not a fan do you have any "Stealth" options?

I want an All Black/stealth-ish PC I know boring but I'm not a teen to enjoy light shows in my room :)

Whilst the 8Pack Ram is nice I personally prefer value for money. You can get a 32GB kit for nearly half the price. The money saved far outweighs the gains.

So either of these two for example:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £298.68 (includes shipping: £8.70)

These two cases can both fit a 420mm AIO if you want no RGB.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Just turn the rgb off or dont connect it to the motherboard and it wont work while the fans will still work. Stealth done easy and still have a well cooled case :)

@lee32uk I agree with you. I was just following his 'beast mode' dream

The manufacturers tend to over estimate the wattage needed. I can't find a review for the 6900XT Red Devil so hard to say for sure. If you feel better having a 1000W unit then see if either of the above are in stock on the 10th. The Phanteks one you listed is also a good unit, but that just shows as out of stock so you would have to ask for an ETA if you wanted that unit.

Yes, I Did check on the requirements for the GPU on the manual says 900W and I did watch some lads on YT saying they use a 1200W while using, an 850W and the PC just turned off while in use.
But to be more specific the CPU in there build is an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x or 5900x and 850W PSU was not enough. I'm not sure if that's a thing or not really, I did read some articles saying that AMD CPU are quite "Power Hungry"
I did get the AMD Ryzen 7 5800x + MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk + WiFi as dfour recommended and the Viper Patriot 32GB RAM 3600Mhz + Phanteks Eclipse P600 Mid Tower Case Grey like lee32uk suggested, the Case is Absolutely Fantastic and really nice looking.

The build with your suggestions/recommendations will be SuperB!
The rest of the components stayed the same GPU, SSD, CPU cooler AIO and I will wait till the PSU gets delivered should be on the days but I'm not gonna lie I'm getting a bit impatient but I will post the full build after it's done here so stay tuned

The p600 is a cracking case, its what i have. if there is one complaint i have about it, its that there isnt a great amount of room under the shroud for the drive bays once the psu and associated cables are in, i could only get two drives. How did you get on?
