Hey. I wonder if anyone could help me with this annoyance.
I keep getting this message at start up:
Sometimes the desktop flashes to 640x480 then back to 1280x1024 just as this pops up, bunching all of my carefully placed icons up in the top corner in the process! It also makes that nvidia tray utility activate again - I like to have it disabled.
I did have a 7600GS in here briefly (swapped out the 6800GT) but that was multiple driver reinstall / Driver Cleaner runs ago.
I don't have a SLI motherboard and I have never used SLI. I have tried reinstalling the official drivers and some beta drivers from guru3d with Driver Cleaner runs in between and it has made no difference. The SLI section of both the classic and updated nvidia control panel have no options to change - just a blurb about how installing another card would increase performance. Clicking the pictured notification bubble also takes me there.
Any ideas?
