Hi guys,

As per this thread: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18690099

I now have ADSL, having a Netduma R1 router I want my main PC on this ADSL LAN connection, however I have my entire Media collection on my NAS which is on the Wireless LAN, I want that staying there due to the various wireless devices that connect on that LAN.

See this pic:

So basically, what are my options on connecting my PC to both LAN's? Is it possible? It's not the end of the world but would make life a hell of a lot easier.

Or....I have a Surface Pro pretty much permanently sat on my desk, is it easier just connecting that to the ADSL network and running the Netduma software off that for ease?

Ahh a guy with the router I want. From what I can tell mate the neduma plugs into your exsisting modem/router. You can have devices connected to the first current modem/router but you wont be able to controll them with the neduma basically. So if they end up consuming a lot of Internet bandwith or network bandwith there is nothing you can do about it. But yes you can have exsisting devices connect the same way before connecting up your netduma. You just wont be able to use the congestion or flood features for these devices. Its how I understood it!

You can connect the LAN side of two routers together. Use the same subnet but only have DHCP running on one of them.

Have the default gateway configured to point to one of them; configure a static route on any device you want to use the other router for its gateway.
