Pc crashed and generated dump file

My little lad was playing call of duty for hours and then encountered a crash where the pc rebooted if I upload the dimple could anyone suggest as to what has caused the error? Thanks once again guys

The information in Event Viewer may be informative without having to upload the dump file.

Windows + X > open event viewer. Check the system log, under windows logs. Use the filter in the right pane to filter on critical and error.

That’s what I have done and it’s a kernel error that’s generated a mini dump file

I’ve tried to read the mini dump using windows debug software but I don’t understand it if someone could take a look at the mini dump for me?

Ain’t nobody going to spend their time debugging a release build windows crash dump I’m afraid.

If he’d been playing for hours it could be many things…..up to and including cosmic rays bitflipping memory

Ok thanks buddy I’ve had same issue happen previously in past but not persistent

It says it’s a xinput error so I think it’s to do with my controller overlocking software

When I’ve googled it it comes up to do with my Xbox controller

I’ve noticed since re enabling core isolation and memory integrity option now it has t done it since so il keep my eye on it

Yer I’ve done a fresh install now anyways so gonna see how it goes
