Hello all, any help would be really appreciated.

Friday night my pc crashed, had to hold power to turn it off... Turned back on and getting no display on my monitor, so right i disconnected my gpu and tried the onboard display... Still same issue. What is a little concerning is that I have a k70rgb keyboard and on windows boot it changes to my colour profile that I have changed it to, even before I have logged into Windows, since the crash that's not the case, it stays as the default colours and so does my RGB mouse.
Any ideas cos surely if it was a boot drive fault I would still get bios prompt?

Pc is Ryzen 3600 (stock cooler)
B450 tomahawk max
G skill trident z 3200 RGB
5700xt red devil
Xpg 8200 500gb nvme ( I think)

Are there any error lights showing on the motherboard when you try to turn the PC on?

Ok so I just checked and the lights on the mobo do turn on then turn off in a sequence.
Will have to get manual down from loft and have a look.

does your capslock key work after first few seconds?
sounds unrelated to a boot drive, and more to do with PC not posting, or gfx adapter not displaying.. that said doesnt sound like your make it it windows based on the RGB behaviour, and you would likely still get sound output - so kinda sounds like not posting.

Yea caps key works fine and there is defo no sound either.

Ok so cleared CMOS... Still no boot... But left pc running and now 1 of this lights are solid... BOOT light is solid.
Booting device is not detected or fail. That's what manual states.

The Ryzen 3600 doesn't have onboard graphics so put your 5700xt back in (unless you have a spare graphics card to try.)

With the power unplugged, hold down the power button on the front of the case for 40 seconds to fully drain the motherboard.

Remove both sticks of memory and then refit one of them. Switch on. If it's not working, try that stick in another slot. Switch on. If it's not working, remove that stick and try another stick. Then try it in another slot.

Tryed a different GPU earlier when I removed the 5700xt with no joy so put the 5700xt back in.

Ram i changed as you said... No joy.

Your PC needs a GPU to display so you must have the 5700xt card plugged in with the correct RED PCIE 6 pin and 8 pin from PSU going into the card. Make sure the card is seated properly.

also you MUST plug the monitor into the GPU HDMI or DP port not the motherboard ports. The motherboard ports are for CPU with integrated graphics not for discrete GPUs like the 5700XT. Ryzen 3600 does not have integrated Graphics.

if you have another GPU you can test your system out that way.

in the mean time what is your PSU spec? Also can you smell electrical burning smells inside the case?

This pc has been has been up and running for 18 months now, I have tested my old GPU gtx 1060... Surely if it was gpu it would still boot to Windows even without a display and my keyboard colour profile would change?
No electrical burning and my PSU is Corsair Rm650x.

Have you tried a different monitor?

Tried 1 stick of ram at a time?

Tried the bios flashback?

tried stripping the whole lot down and rebuilding outside the case?

Not tried a different monitor as other devices work fine with monitor.
I do have another monitor to test.

Yea tried 1 stick of ram.

In the process of getting a friend to do me a usb so I can try the bios flash back.

Not done a rebuild outside of the case.

Your PSU most likely to be the problem. There is no issue with the bios as it was working previously. The bios wouldn’t just randomly get broken because a crash.

you cleared Cmos and all that?

Yea cleared CMos, don't have a spare PSU to test.

Ok got home took out the Mrs PSU that works fine and still exactly the same... Boots, no display and boot light on, on the mobo.

Sometimes when I boot, the boot light doesn't come on and still won't post.

the board has debug light what is that telling you?

maybe something on the mobo broken, but you said it boots....you mean it turns on and boots into windows?

Sry my bad it doesn't boot to Windows, the computer turns on all RGB turn on and all fans spinning... No debug lights on... Monitor displays no signal. Even if I remove all ssds it's still the same, I don't even get to go into bios.

Maybe someone broke in the board. If all the Gpu, psu and ram tested. Possibly a surge or something broken parts of the motherboard. Checked all the connection are seated properly?

start RMA process with MSI and AMD. You can’t use the machine in the meantime, so might as well send CPU and Board off for replacement. I think AMD is very quick in returning processors MSI might take a little longer.
Yea removed everything and reseated, reconnected everything.

Thank a lot to everyone who has helped.
