overclocked my Q6600 from 2.4 to 3.0,when i exit bios after saving,my pc crashes and restarts 4times before its loaded into windows, and now its stuck at 2.4,bios is showing multi = x9 and FSB = 333,voltage core is 1.3000,and crashes..

any ideas why this happens?

It will be a bios setting that is incorrect.

post what you have selected in bios, and someone will say what is wrong. :)

Take a look at the overclocking faq sticky!! will save you from asking many questions :)

Chances are it needs a slight vcore boost, but could be due to many other factors.

I have an e6600 but the same board
When i was trying to find a stable clock it would do the same thiing when it didnt like it.
Make sure your voltage is set to manual
memory devider is at 2
