Pc crashes if i try to OC

When ever i try Overclocking my pc it crashes and wont bootup.It come up saying missing file till i reset it back to default.I tryed doing it in the bios and the desktop guru.The default is 272 but if i try 299 it crashes

I'd imagine its your RAM crapping out if you haven't given it any more voltage, as the CPU "should" be able to do 299x7 (2.1GHz), although it might want an extra 0.05v.

Anyway, try knocking your RAM voltage up a notch or two, or alternatively knock down the ratio to slow the RAM down a tad.
Sorry m8 this is still abit new to m8 is there any guides to follow for my setup
