Did you uninstall and remove the drivers (via the registry) of the 470 prior to fitting the 680?

i5 750
Asus P7P55D PRO
4gb Crucial Ballistix ram
650w Antec Truepower psu

301.10 driver version
What do you mean full "clean" installation (sorry, noob question :o)

Is anything in your system overclocked at all? If so return everything to stock settings? How do temperatures look of your CPU and GPU.

By clean installation I mean there is an option when installing nvidia drivers to do a custom installation then check the box at the bottom for a clean installation. Basically it removes all your previous drivers (including 3D/HD audio/PhysX etc) then installs new versions.

I would uninstall all your nvidia drivers first, run CCleaner/driver sweep etc and then do a clean installation of the latest ones. You could try the 301.24 beta drivers to see if their any better?

I initially had some issues going from a 460 to my 680, I uninstalled then reinstalled the 680 drivers and it's been 100% stable ever since.

And I didn't have to mess around with driver sweeper or registry settings either.

Could be worth a shot.

OK so doesn't sound like a driver issue.

Try downloading Memtest86+ to a bootable flash drive and testing the RAM for any issues. Also I presume the sytem is still crashing at stock settings? If overclocked have you tested stability?
