Hi guys I've come across a bit of a problem tonight and am wondering if anyone can give me advise as to what the problem is.

I've been running my Q6600 g0 CPU @ 368 X 9 (3312mhz) for over 2 weeks now with absolutely no problems...However earlier tonight I decided it would be a good idea, after reading the "beginners guide to overclocking thread" to change to 400x8 (3200mhz) at the same time I changed my ram voltage from the default 1.8 to the recommended manufacturers voltage of 2.1 (as recommended in the beginners guide to overclocking)...

Now, I instantly went to load up core temp... everything was idling at fine temperatures. Then I decided to run the cysis benchmark... where I pretty much instantly crashed after about 2-3seconds of testing. I thought, fair enough, I'll just revert back to my previous clock speeds...

Following that it crashes again, weird I think... So I slacken off the ram timing to 5-5-5-15 and also change the ram back to 1.8V... at the same time I also take my Q6600 back to default clock speeds of 266x9....

Load up core temp etc, and load the benchmark again... crashes again... Now I'm getting really angry! So I think, right I'll just load the game and just play it, not bench it... I just about get into the game, and it crashes?!

I've crashed approximately 10 times in total now, once being a blue screen for a split second. Now when I say crashing, I mean i hanging up.... it freezes on what its doing, the PC doesn't reboot or anything.

PC spec:

Abit IP35
Q6600 g0
OCZ PC8500 2x1 GB
BFG 8800 GTS 512mb
520W corsair

Thanks for any response or recommendations, it's driving me nuts now.
