PC Crashing when loading/playing games

no worries, the bios should be quite easy to guide you through, keep testing the ram and if it passes then thats a good sign, my next move is the bios and if that still doesn't work, your gpu will need looking at, have you got a friend who could lend your their gpu to test? (that will be if the bios doesn't sort the issue)
Right, the Memtest is complete... only took 6+ hours! But all is well and no issues were found at all.
I have also looked at CPUz and the DRAM Frequency is 1599.6Mhz
I read a few other threads from other sites around issues with these boards and there was a guy talking about issues with the drivers for my GPU and that he solved some problems that sounded similar by doing a fresh install after using DDU to remove them, I've tried that and so far it hasn't worked which is unfortunate!
if your ram is running 1600mhz then its set up correctly it will be running at 3200mhz (ddr =double data rate).
i'd say next thing to try is another gpu, ask your friends if they'd be kind enough to lend you one for testing, if not head on to the b-grade section of overclockers and pick up a card, £100 mark should work for testing, don't go all out and buy a new one as the problem could be elsewhere.
i'd say its something between the gpu or the psu, but hwmoniter showed excellent voltage readings for your psu so i recon its your card, but testing another is the only way to be sure.
but going back running all the stress tests should have showed problems as they are the worst case for a pc, and all passed.
The games your having problems with, did they get any updates lately? or are they in alpha phase (pre release?) could be a update has knackered the game or the alpha release has got bugs in it unbeknown to the developer

Unfortunately non of my friends are into gaming so only have laptops etc really. Really didn't want to have to buy another one in case its this. Although i appreciate its pointing that way.
Game wise, i tried The Witcher 3 earlier on as i bought that a week or so ago and hadn't played it yet. That loaded up all ok, and gave me a good 5/10 mins before the black screen and windows reboot. I know that Scum had a recent update, not sure about Planet Coaster or The Witcher (the 2 other games i can no longer play it seems)
Having read lots online it seems that loads of people have had driver issues with the Radeon 5700 cards. There is a few things people have done to resolve it and so far i think I've tried them all! I reinstalled windows today and so far haven't installed ANY drivers for anything and thought i'd see what its like. I can now play scum... for 15/20 mins and then it will routinely crash and the PC reboots.
It certainly feels like its the card that's at fault, but the more i read the more i think its not the card itself but more the drivers etc that go with it.
i know it will be annoying but all the symptoms are pointing to the card, you've tested the cpu, ram all came back solid as a rock, plus your psu voltages are all excellent, yes I'll give you that the pc passed a gpu stress test which is odd but gaming puts far less load on you components. as to why its not working properly it's an interesting one for sure but for me it's pointing to the gpu.

Yep its been pretty much ok from the offset. I did have a few issues at the start, but they went away once i ran Rust in a window. Until recently i only really played Planet Coaster, (which ran perfectly - although this stopped working right after an update), Planet Zoo and Cities Skyline.
final thing to try is reinstall the affected games but not fully update them, if the crashing goes away then its software (game) related, but if the issues still persist after re installing your games it time to look at your gpu unfortunatly
Sadly i have already done that, as i mentioned above i reinstalled windows today, then Steam and then Rust itself. I can now play for 15/20 mins if I'm lucky before it dies again.
ahh in that case, the gpu is the next step I'm afraid, everything else has been eliminated from fault, even windows as you've clean installed and still somethings not working properly.
id say have a look around online and get a cheap gtx 1050ti for testing use it a couple of times and re-list it to get some money back or return it under rma requests (as not wanted)

OK no worries. Thanks for all your help with this, same we couldn't get to the bottom of it (although maybe you have if its the GPU!)
I have found on here that they have a dedicated 5700 thread so i might ask on there and see if anyone can suggest anything further around the GPU etc but its not looking hopeful
