sorry about image size post from phone.

I have managed to uninstall the nvidia drivers and its not locking up at all, but i reinstalled the driver from a fresh download and it locks up again.

what can I do? as the default windows drivers wont allow my res above 1280 x 1024, PC GFX looks terrible.

talk about a large screenshot....

looks like video memory corruption to me or could be a loose video card in its slot slight movement causes the crash???

I removed using the driver sweeper program, rebooted and reinstalled.
I then had this pop up once, and a screen flicker. But it has corrected itself now.

Lets hope it doesn't crash now.

now i can see the error text with the image resize it does look tobe a driver related issue but i still wont rule out hardware memory error.

As the default windows driver does detect all the video memory it does not load or use it all so in most cases it does work. hence why this driver is loaded in windows safe mode......

If you have installed the latest driver and your still havin issues, I'd run a some sort of hardware testing software to test the vga card ad it's memory

260.89 drivers installed and 5mins of furmark so far and no crashes. Can safely say it's not a hardware memory issue.

I hope it was just a 260.99 driver issue?? Odd that the driver has been installed for weeks and weeks and weeks and no issues.

A driver sweep and driver reinstall had the lockup coming back too.

I assume you are running it at stock speeds?

The reason I ask is this is the exact error I was getting when I was searching for the overclock limit of my GPU. If I pushed it too much the driver would crash, recover and then I knew to knock it back a notch.

Well I left furmark running but double clicked an nzb file again, and another screen spam on off with the same Windows error then a lock up. I cannot understand what is causing newsletter to lock my graphics drivers up.
